Smartlink Engineering Sdn Bhd is a Malaysian contract manufacturing and engineering company serving the semiconductor and high-technology industries. We provide cable harness assembly, electrical and mechanical module assembly, control panels, box-build assemblies, and system integration solutions.

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Purchasing Executive to support our daily purchasing activities and ensure materials and components are available according to production requirements.

Current Location : Seksyen 32, Shah Alam
New Location: Sijangkang, Selangor (we will move to the new facilities by Quarter *************

Key Responsibilities :

• Handle daily purchasing activities, including quotation, Purchase Order (PO) preparation and supplier follow-up.
• Source and obtain quotations from suppliers to ensure competitive pricing.
• Liaise with suppliers on pricing, delivery schedules, product availability and other purchasing matters.
• Monitor outstanding POs and ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Coordinate with Production, Warehouse, Planning and other departments to ensure material requirements are met.
• Follow up on delayed, short or incorrect deliveries and resolve issues with suppliers.
• Maintain proper purchasing records, supplier information and related documentation.
• Assist in supplier evaluation and cost-saving initiatives.
• Ensure purchasing activities comply with company procedures and requirements.

Requirements :

• Diploma/Degree in Purchasing, Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Administration or related field.
• 3 years of relevant experience in purchasing, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong follow-up and coordination skills.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office; experience with ERP/purchasing systems is an advantage.
• Detail-oriented, organized and able to work independently.
• Able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,800.00 per month
