JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES / KEY RESULT AREA

  • Preliminary Lead & Pre-Sales Management:
  • Lead and manage Commercial & Industrial (C&I) solar preliminary leads, providing technical and commercial consultancy to prospective clients.
  • Prepare preliminary proposals, including system concepts, technical assumptions, financial models, and commercial terms.
  • Act as the company’s Key Account Manager during the pre-sales stage, serving as the primary point of contact for clients, investors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Coordinate closely with engineering, finance, legal, and operations teams to ensure alignment prior to project securing.
  • Ensure smooth transition and formal Project Handover / Kick-Off Meeting once the project is awarded
  • Attending C&I preliminary leads, by providing technical & commercial consultancy, inclusive of preparation of preliminary proposals, and liaison/coordination with multiple stakeholders (client, investor, internal working teams etc.)
  • Preliminary Lead Management: To become company’s representative as Key Account Manager for any leads in the pre-sales stage, until the client is secured and Kick Off/Project Handover meeting is conducted.
  • Tender Management:
  • To assist the tender committee team to manage tender submission, inclusive of management of committee team members, assurance of tender submission compliance, and other related tasks that are related to the tender management.
  • Manage cross-functional tender teams, assigning responsibilities and monitoring deliverables.
  • Review tender documentation, proposals, and pricing to ensure competitiveness, accuracy, and risk mitigation.
  • Business Development: To assist in proposing new businesses by exploring new opportunities, venturing into new ideas & providing feasibility & viability study of the new business proposal.
  • Business Development: Propose marketing strategies (initiatives, events) that can help propel a company's sales & marketing efforts.
  • Business Development: Propose and manage new partnerships with other B2B entities & expand company’s networking and connections.
  • Business Development: To undergo market and product studies
  • General: To provide assistance to the Team Leader/Head of Department/CEO in day-to-day technical operations and any other tasks relevant to the job title.
  • Project Cost Estimation & Control:
  • To lead project development engineer in preparing project budget (pre-project) and profit & loss (post project) report, by reviewing and assessing cost estimates.
  • To lead project development engineer in creating project budget for project execution, in comparison to the estimated costing done prior to securing the project.
  • To oversee procurement, proposal and tender exercises for project costing purposes.
  • To lead project development engineer in preparing Bill of Quantities or Specification document for tendering/RFP purposes.
  • Procurement & Purchasing: To procure for contract for goods and services, which include coordination of purchases of various products and services for the company or specific projects
  • Vendor Database Maintenance: Research and identify vendors (contractors & suppliers), including preparation & regular update of the vendor database
  • Vendor Database Maintenance: To conduct vendor assessment, and negotiate with vendors to achieve desired quality, price, and timetables on behalf of company/projects’ interests.
  • Cost Database Maintenance:
  • To prepare & regularly update cost database, by identifying labor, material, costs and time requirements by researching proposals, blueprints, and any related documents
  • Collect different quotes from subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers.
  • ISO & SOP: To assist in ensuring filing and documentation are in compliance with the Department operation and ISO procedures.
  • General: To provide assistance to the Chief Executive Officer in day-today technical operations and any other tasks relevant to the job title.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Renewable Energy, or Civil Engineering or a related technical field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in Solar PV project development, internships included.
  • Strong knowledge in AutoCAD, MS Project, and Solar PV system design.
  • Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia, leadership, and coordination skills.
  • Proactive, problem-solving mindset, able to work under tight deadlines.
  • Must hold a valid Class ‘D’ driving license.
  • Willing to travel.

Pay: RM3,800.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
