At Carro, we’re transforming the way people buy and own cars through technology, data and innovation. As our business continues to grow, we’re looking for a hands-on Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our People & Culture team and help us attract exceptional talent across the organization.

This role is ideal for a recruiter who enjoys end-to-end recruitment, is confident partnering with hiring managers and can comfortably navigate both technical and corporate-level hiring.

If you’re someone who can move quickly, keep stakeholders updated, build strong candidate relationships and manage multiple vacancies without losing attention to detail — we’d love to hear from you.

What You'll Do

Own the end-to-end recruitment process, from sourcing and screening through to interview coordination, offer management and onboarding.
Partner closely with hiring managers and business leaders to understand hiring requirements, advise on talent availability and deliver effective recruitment solutions.
Manage multiple vacancies across technical, corporate and business functions in a fast-paced environment.
Source and attract candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, talent databases, referrals and other creative sourcing channels.
Support IT, Technology, FinTech and other specialist/technical hiring, including understanding technical requirements and identifying relevant talent.
Build and maintain a strong candidate pipeline and talent database for current and future hiring needs.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date recruitment trackers, candidate records and hiring reports.
Ensure hiring managers receive prompt updates on candidate progress, market feedback and recruitment timelines.
Coordinate interviews and ensure a smooth and professional candidate experience throughout the recruitment journey.
Manage offer discussions and support candidates through the offer and pre-employment process.
Monitor recruitment metrics and provide regular updates on pipeline, hiring progress and recruitment performance.
Continuously improve recruitment processes, sourcing strategies and candidate engagement approaches.

Stakeholder Management is Key

You’ll work closely with hiring managers and cross-functional team across the organization, so we’re looking for someone who can build trust, communicate proactively and manage expectations effectively.

You should be comfortable asking the right questions, challenging hiring requirements when needed, providing honest market feedback and keeping stakeholders informed — even when hiring gets challenging.

What We're Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology or a related discipline.
3+ years of Talent Acquisition / Recruitment experience, preferably in-house.
Proven experience managing the full recruitment lifecycle.
Experience recruiting for Technology, IT, FinTech, Digital or other technical/specialist roles is highly preferred.
Experience supporting corporate-level hiring across functions such as Finance, HR, Legal, Marketing, Operations or other professional functions.
Strong stakeholder management and hiring manager partnership skills.
Confident communicator with the ability to engage candidates and stakeholders at different levels.
Strong sourcing and candidate assessment skills.
Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple vacancies and priorities simultaneously.
Comfortable working with recruitment trackers, candidate databases and hiring data.
Proactive, responsive and able to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Strong ownership mindset — you don’t wait to be chased for updates; you keep the business informed.
