Execution
- Ensuring that all logs adhere to the station's strategic objectives and standards.
- Managing and scheduling station liners and promotional spots on a weekly basis.
- Preparing weekly chart shows in accordance with the requirements and agreements set by the Company which aligns with the goal.
- Updating and maintaining the current song playlist, and making recommendations for songs to be added to station rotations based on research and music trends.
- Generating all necessary monthly station reports.
- Drafting scripts for various radio segments and programs.
Planning
- Develop the monthly station roster for all Brand Ambassadors.
- Contribute ideas to branded campaigns for clients, ensuring alignment with station objectives.
- Identify potential new and young talents and artists to feature on the station.
- Coordinating hosting, presentation and daily execution of every on-air product of the radio station with content that suits the set targeted audience by the organization.
- Coordinating the radio station for weekly or monthly meetings, airchecks as and when required for show preparations.
- Talent Management; To guide, train, monitor and create work schedules for the available pool of on-air voices. To constantly perform air checks on each talent after their on-air duties to ensure that they are on track.
- To plan, coordinate, implement and execute the ministry or clients mandated programs as per the program goal and schedule.
Communications
- Work closely with Audio Production for any on-air production materials
- Plans the setting up and operating audio equipment, ensuring sound quality and clarity, managing sound levels, and troubleshooting any technical issues that may arise during recording or broadcasting.
- Ensures that the final radio content meets quality standards and engages the audience effectively.
On-Air Content Generation
- To actively generate, plan, and develop content for On-Air broadcasts, including preparing show prep materials and writing scripts.
- Assist with station packaging every two months and implementing music changes every two weeks.
- Collaborate closely with production engineers to produce new sounds and ensure seamless integration of audio elements into broadcasts.
Station Management
- Schedule logs on a daily basis and ensure they are planned at least one day in advance.
- Regularly update and balance the song rotations twice a week to maintain freshness and variety. - Oversee the execution and preparation of chart shows to ensure they are well-organized and effectively delivered.
Quality Campaigns
- To work closely with the Business Development, programming and Creative & Digital team in ensuring the outcome of a project are designed to meet the goals.
- Maintaining market share with all competitors, listeners satisfaction and participation in terms of radio content and engagements.
- Advising the team on all client’s requirements successfully with zero complaints and managing their expectations accordingly.
Compliance
- Ensure the Compliance to Laws and Regulations
- Ensure the programs in Compliance to Kementerian Belia & Sukan mandate and regulations
- To comply with all company and station compliance and ensure zero compliance issues and meet all compliance requirements successfully.
