Duty & Responsibilities:
The Biomedical Engineer report to the Head of Division and is responsible for:
1. Provide service and customer support during field visits or dispatches.
2. Manage all on site installation, repair, maintenance and test tasks.
3. Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions.
4. Produce timely and detailed service reports.
5. Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations/briefings.
6. Meeting and carrying out product presentations to potential clients leading to closure of sales
7. Represent the company in Sales & Marketing events including seminars, conferences and trade exhibitions in Malaysia and overseas.
8. To carry out installation, repair and maintenance of medical equipment
9. Able to do planning, implementing and monitoring Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) schedule of medical equipment
10. Performing of appropriate testing and commissioning of medical equipment and prepare proper documentation
11. To prepare calibration certificates for testers and analyzers
12. To identify and analyze equipment failures
13. Perform acceptance testing and pre-delivery inspection for new equipment.
14. Perform technical troubleshooting and repair of the faulty medical system.
15. Prepare and compile work orders for Testing & Commissioning, Planned Preventive Maintenance, coordination works, and service reports.
16. Able to attend customer emergency calls regarding machine breakdown; troubleshoot and repair the medical system in hospitals and clinics
17. Able to determine the source of problems to recommend corrective actions in the shortest time required.
18. To assist in the delivery, installation, testing, and commissioning of products.
19. To perform other related jobs as assigned by superior/HOD/Director from time to time.
20. Any other activity as directed by the supervises from time to time.
21. Ensure customer satisfaction and always provide a high level of support to increase customer retention
22. Must be willing to travel throughout sales territory designated by company, locally and overseas.
23. Willing to receive training locally or overseas on company's product lines.
24. Build positive relationships with customers.
Requirements:
Degree holder in Biomedical Science, Medical Lab Technologist, Radiographer or Radiotherapy with Clinical background.
Experience in related job at least 2-3 years
Good understanding of current medical laboratory methodologies, protocols and EQC/IQC will be an advantage.
Have a good attitude, a trustworthy and responsible person (Berakhlak, Beramanah & Bertanggungjawab).
Effective communication skill to clearly articulate application & product information to both internal team members & clients.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Travel is a must for this position. Suitable for person with excellent time and family management.

Oversee project implementation, supervision and monitoring of all projects related technical works such as preparation & coordination of pre-installation M&E engineering services requirements, for installation of medical equipment with Project Consultants (Architect, Medical Planner, Mechanical, Electrical & Structural Engineers), site engineers & Contractors.
