Job Description
• To carry out routine inspections, repair, corrective, and preventive maintenance on all switchboards, circuit breakers, transformers, switch gears, and cleanliness of all High Voltage, Low Voltage, msb room and genset room.
• To Liase with utility provider and regulatory body such as TNB and Suruhanjaya Tenaga on utility service and compliance issue.
• Responsible as 22KV high tension chargeman. Prepare, plan, coordinate, implement & monitor the preventive, predictive, condition, implement & monitor the preventive, predictive, condition monitoring and breakdown maintenance of electrical supply & distribution.
• Responsible for the safety and proper operation of high tension power supply
• To carry out maintenance and troubleshooting of plant electrical facilities, machineries and equipment.
• Liase, supervise and monitor external contractor’s works and make sure all jobs carry out by contractor are compliance to Electrical Supply Act and Regulation
Job Requirements
• Candidate must possess Competency Certificate In Electrical Chargeman BO by Suruhanjaya
• Prefer with 3 years hands-on working experience as HT Chargeman (BO)
• Able to work beyond normal working hours, including attend to emergency calls and special task arrangement during off day/after working hours
• Familiar with Electricity Supply Act & Regulations

Responsibilities;
• Plan and schedule electrical maintenance activities and inspection activities involving machines, equipment’s, utilities, facilities, etc.
• Plan and determine the needs to keep the electrical parts in the factory and ensure all parts were recorded in the record book/systems.
• Ensure compliances standards with government department on related act & regulation and license from Suruhanjaya Tenaga Malaysia, TNB and any related certification requirements for factory plant well maintained.
• Ensure new installations and maintenance are safe, correct and legal.
• Manage and supervise the work of E&I and subcontractors third party contractor’s/ suppliers jobs / goods/ services and ensure safety regulations are complied.
• Ensure all electrical maintenance programs are fully implemented and well organized.
• Ensure all calibration electrical panel for LV/HT certification are renewed and equipment’s well maintained.
• Responsible in the installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical wiring systems as well as factory plant.
• Ensure and maintain PM program based on plant breakdown report.
• Able to perform preventive maintenance and operate, maintain & inspect switchgear, transformers, LV and generator set room.
• Perform in any electrical works activities, assignment, project and any other task given as and when required by the management.
Requirements;
• Possess Chargeman BO by Suruhanjaya Tenaga Malaysia.
• Diploma in Electrical or its equivalent.
• Passed SPM/STPM/SKM or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years working experience in related field.
• Recommended have certification or experience in SAP systems, Procurehere, PLC, Scada and VSD.
• Knowledge in PM & CM
• Proficient in English, Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken).
