The Financial Controller functions as the property’s Financial Business Leader. He / She is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Finance Department, like preparation and management of the hotels financial budgets, implementing and overseeing all activities relating to the financial aspects of the hotel in compliance with the local tax laws and also by the hotel’s SOP’s. Additionally, responsible for the financial analysis, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, audit and control, asset and liability reconciliation, working capital and cash control etc. Also, ensure the safekeeping and updating of all legal documentation relating to the financial status of the hotel. To present monthly Financial Statement and Yearly budget to Board of Directors.
1)Review draft annual financial statements and schedules and ensure that they are completed within deadline for audit by external auditors from Headquarter of construction company
2)Creating, developing and maintaining professional relationships with banks in BANGLADESH and other leaders in BANGLADESH
3)Arrangement of most appropriate company, project and development finance.
4)Report to Headquarter for cash flow projections of company every end of months
5)Engage in partnership with the owner and Senior Management team
6)Maintain on time and accurate report to the HQ team for monthly report in Bangladesh
7)Responsible to lead the accounts team in all accounting and costing matters to ensure timeliness and accurate reporting of the company financial performance.
8)Prepare and monitor the monthly preparation of Management accounts
9)Responsible for statutory accounts, statutory filing and audit compliance, as well as internal control compliance
10)Review existing accounting processes and operation workflow for compliance to standard operating procedures and continuous improvement
11)Monitor and planning cash flow positions and preparation of monthly and yearly cash flow positions
12)Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, company secretary as well as regulatory bodies in relation to the issues related to accounts, taxation and relevant statutory requirement
13)Monitor cash flow availability to ensure that the cash flows are adequate to meet payments issued to creditors
14)Review the monthly financial report of the project, construction and service-based company which includes profit and loss accounts, balance sheet and cash flow statements and ensure that information is correct and deadline meet
15)Any others duties as when requested by the management
