Inventory Coordinator
to work from 9:00 to 18:00, Monday through Friday in our Singapore depot.
INVENTORY COORDINATOR JOB SUMMARY:
The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for checking, researching, quoting, ordering, receiving, and transferring of inventory. As well as requesting RMAs from vendors for returns, handling warranty claims and/or exchanges, and assisting with cycle counts. The Inventory Coordinator will stage spare parts for service jobs and verify that unreturned parts are posted to a work order with any applicable freight expenses.
Responsibilities:
Always follow Mackay’s policies and procedures.
Proficient at researching the company database by part number, description, brand, and/or model and always before quoting customers or issuing a purchase order.
Maintains adequate supply of shipping materials and ensures timely stock replenishments.
Processes orders for service and sales.
Creates Purchase Orders in Solomon and obtains the necessary approval from Mackay’s General Parts Center.
Responds to RFQ’s from customers and supports coordinators, service, and sales staff with timely quotes.
Receives inventory both physically and into Solomon (ERB). Ensures accuracy of orders received; validates quantity, verifies part numbers, and serial numbers against shipping documents against the purchase order.
Keeps accurate control of materials used, tracks freight costs, and applies to customer invoices.
Request RMAs from vendors for returns, warranty claims, and/or exchange parts.
Labels and maintains inventory in accordance with established procedures.
Obtains and stages parts of parts (‘Kits’) for service jobs. Controls ‘Kits’ checked out to and back in from MSE’s. Record parts used from service kits, restock parts returned, and maintain inventory levels in accordance with department policy.
Supports depot sales staff in procuring, packing, and delivery/shipment of materials.
Responding to and monitoring email.
After-hours delivery when needed.
Other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
