Roles and Responsibilities 1. Participate in discussions with the business / program managers on understanding the scope of work, rules and procedures required to prepare documentation detailing the solution for the given business needs. 2. Responsible to filter the needs and wants of a requirement including the functional and non-functional requirements; refine the varying messages as well as the requirements of the project stakeholders into a consistent single vision. 3. Bring innovation during solutioning in form of recommendations which improves the process through simplification. 4. Provides support on project execution such as preparing user requirements, quality control and coordinates with stakeholders to ensure the smooth and timely delivery on project 5. Adjudicate problem solutioning between stakeholders; offer technical expertise to identify fact based solutioning. 6. Prepare Test requirement to ensure that it is comprehensive and meet the User Acceptance Test (UAT) needs. 7. Review and signoff Solution documents, User Acceptance Test (UAT) plan and scenarios prepared by the business / program management teams within the stipulated timelines. 8. Conduct Peer-reviews on their business solutions. 9. Liaise with stakeholders to ensure test environments and any specific UAT requirements are set up in readiness for test execution. 10. Support creation of Test data in test environment. 11. Execute Test scripts, monitor and record test results against the business expectation according to the test objectives. 12. Ensure all the test outputs, PIR test results and all reports are well documented, able to spot the errors during UAT stage and proper PIR raised. 13. Work closely with business and technology stakeholders to resolve UAT defects. 14. Supports on incoming Task assessment and assist in assignment of task to the Team members. 15. Report UAT progress and highlight key areas of risk and issues. 16. Provide UAT clearance report after ensuring that all functionalities have been tested, defects have been identified and documented, impacts have been assessed, and resolutions provided. 17. Provide efficient technical support and guidance to production users and relevant parties. 18. Coordinate with Business / Program Management teams to obtain UAT signoff. 19. To demonstrate logical thinking and creative thinking, able to give suggestions and make recommendations. 20. Review and authorise documentations prepared by Associates / Senior Associates 21. Be a mentor to Associates / Sr. Associates by offering expertise around Business Analysis (BA) 22. Prepare end user training guide and train the trainer prior to implementation 23. Perform post implementation verification and follow up production issue and its fixing (if any) prior to project closure. 24. Represent the team at various project meetings 25. Suggest improvement (tech / process) methods to elevate testing standards. 26. Embrace change, to be a change agent for internal and external stakeholders. 27. Follow internal testing frameworks, documentation processes under Target Operating Model as set by the Development Support Team. 28. Organize and implement team engagement activities to foster closer team spirit. 29. Performs other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by supervisor in order to meet business requirements. Minimum Job Requirements: • Degree Holder in Actuarial, Business IT, Computer Science, or a related discipline. • Candidates with 3 to 5 years working experience in life insurance operations as Business Analyst and with knowledge in both operation and system areas are preferred. • Worked on Customer facing applications, with solutioning experience. • Meticulous and able to manage priorities to meet deadlines. • Good verbal and written communication skills and good interpersonal skills. • Positive attitude and willingness to share and learn. • Ability to work under pressure with minimal guidance and is a team player. • Trained in Agile, Six Sigma, Kaizen or related Operation excellence process improvement methodologies will be added advantage, Specific Business Knowledge: • Preference for proficiency in both speaking and writing in English • Preferred proficiency in any specified area of domain expertise to be determined during the release of position for recruitment and assessed during the interview: o New business services o Customer Service operations o Claims operations o Agency management / front end operations
