Responsibilities:
- Manage development team consisting of Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer
- Contribute to design/code reviews for quality assurance and conformance to standards/guidelines.
- Review all work produced by the team members
- Provide technical guidance and leadership and coach team members.
- Delegate technical responsibilities and monitor the progress of projects, as well as all technical issues, risk or mitigation plans in a timely manner
- Define and manage technical resource plans together with the Project Manager aligning to the project schedule
- Meet with customers to provide technical solutions, anticipates customers’ needs and proposes alternative technical solutions.
- Provide ad-hoc technical support on the BAU issue.
- Builds expert knowledge in our industry.
- Provide continuous improvement and refinement of our methodology and delivery.
- Responsible for forward resource management, team building and staff career growth.
- Conduct interviews, hire and train new technical support or team members.
Requirements:
- At least 6 years of working experience in Java development (preferably in the financial industry).
- Proven leadership track record on managing a team of 5 technical persons with the ability to lead and coordinate within the organization together with customers and 3rd-party partners, if any.
- Proven technical, analytical, troubleshooting and consultative skills.
- Good verbal and written communication in English
- Tactfully communicates sensitive information.
- Ability to cope with tight deadlines and adhere to the delivery plan.

- Various Java frameworks and design patterns.
- Java frameworks such as Apache Struts/Struts 2.
- Java services such as Enterprise Java Bean, Java Database Connectivity, and Java Messaging Services.
- IBM WAS / Oracle WebLogic / Oracle Database Server with SQL/PL-SQL programming.
- Web technologies such as Ajax, JavaScript, JQuery, JQuery Mobile, VueJS, AngularJS, Node.js, XML, CSS3, HTML5, SOAP/RESTful web services, Ionic, React, Spring Boot.
- Mobile application technology.
- Clouds implementation with AWS / AliCloud / GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, EC2, NoSQL
