Perform the day-to-day mechanical maintenance & inspection activities in order to meet the daily hydrocarbon production target in an efficient and professional manner, and in compliance with all Company’s HSE requirements and other relevant rules, regulations & policies.

Perform mechanical maintenance and inspection activities and support in safe, efficient and professional manner and, in compliance with Company’s HSE and other requirements. Examples of such activities are:

Maintain, inspect, certify, troubleshoot and repair of all mechanical equipment on the platforms such as but not limited to – rotating equipment, coupling alignment, material preparation and vendor support during engine change out and major maintenance onrotating equipment ie 8K PM, non-rotating equipment (flanges alignment etc), static equipment (PSV, manual valves), plumbing, etc.

Support daily operations activities.

To be quick to respond and assist MTL, OTL, Op Sup and OIM in the event of plant or process upset during or after working hours to provide quick response and ensure safety and plant operations are managed well.

To produce report on mechanical related equipment failure and work closely with MTL and supporting engineers in related mechanical issues.
9.
Support / perform non-routine activities during turnaround, facility modification, subsurface work, construction.
10.
Perform stock check for mechanical section i.e. inventory materials, part and consumables and make requisition if required.
11.
Ensure all tools (eg. alignment tools, all special tools) used in daily activities are kept properly and maintained to good working condition

Perform deck cleaning and other housekeeping work.
13.
Perform cargo handling including rigging and slinging.

To work together with OIM, Op Sup, MTL, OTL and office engineers to update or produce job task procedure, SOP or manual when required and update the latest revision in relevant folders offshore.

To produce report on mechanical related equipment failure and work closely with MTL and supporting engineers in related E&I issues.

Prepare reports (handover note, equipment defect, etc) and collect / compile data when required.
17.
Participate in all trainings / safety program conducted on the platform and during off duty (BOSIET, Coxswain, DCT, etc)

Perform daily toolbox meeting, JHA review, PTW submission and circulation for approval and participate in risk assessments where required.

To perform roles and responsibilities assigned by OIM ie Emergency Response Team member, DCT commander/leader, coxswain etc. Mech tech are usually the main person to perform as coxswain and focal person to ensure lifeboat safety and integrity.
20.
To participate in USUA program and JOBs as required to ensure safe working conditions.

Monitor contractors’ work execution and control their HSE performance.
22.
Record all repairs, planned maintenance, inspection, certification, testing, calibration and validation work accordingly and, populate records/data into the CMMS.

Act as Damaged Control Team member when there is a need to respond to platform emergency situation and when required, deputize the MTL in his absence.

Implement, enforce and monitor Company’s HSE requirements on all activities.
25.
To assist other team members (Production technician, E&I tech, Crane Operator, Medic RO) in daily activities in a safe manner that does not encroach into competent personnel job scope (eg assist in rigging up equipment, material placement, tool preparation, buddy system, assist crane operations during lifting)

In the absence of the MTL, senior or experienced Mech Tech will be assigned as Acting Operation Team Leader (MTL)

Stayback (extended stay after crew change) or callback (early return during off days) when back-to-back is not available due to whatever reasons or during major turnaround or shutdown activities where additional support is required to manage activities.
28.
Any other duties as reasonably directed by your Supervisor or Manager.
