1. Able to read & understand technical drawing & manuals.
2. Able to conducting general troubleshooting, repairing & preventive maintenance of mechanical & electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, instrument, chilled water system of machines & facility associated equipment.
3. Able to work on shift rotate, overtime, emergency call back on rest day & public holiday and able to maintain a daily log book of work done during the shift.

• Responsible for carrying out all mechanical repairs and maintenance and occasionally upgrades and R&D on a wide range of miscellaneous Construction Asset Department equipment ensuring that the work is carried out in a safe, effective and efficient manner.
• Take instruction from the Chief Engineer on their day to day activities
• Pre-mobilisation preparation and assembly of equipment and tools by way of preparation for the specific project.
• Routine maintenance and repair as required.
• Operation of relevant equipment while on Company worksites.
• Recognize, set up, and operate hand and power tools common to the welding trade.
• Repairs broken or cracked parts, fills holes, and increases size of metal parts, by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts.
• Monitor the fitting, burning, and welding processes to avoid overheating of parts or warping, shrinking, distortion, or expansion of material.
• Performs related tasks such as thermal cutting and grinding
• Other tasks may be assigned as needed.
• Ensure sufficient task analysis are completed to carry work out safely.

4. Read and follow labels, safety warnings, and guidelines
5. To be actively involved in preventive maintenance planning to ensure minimal downtime in production equipment
6. Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production
7. Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments
8. Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities
9. Identify faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision
10. To ensure all work is carried out according to the safety regulation and industry quality standard.
