Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent

Minimum 5 years of experience in the construction industry

Relevant experience in road and bridge construction works

Good knowledge of quantity surveying, costing and contract administration

Good analytical, negotiation and communication skills

Able to work independently and manage multiple projects

Willing to travel and work at different project/site locations as required

Prepare and manage tender documents, Bills of Quantities, costing and quotations

Carry out measurement and evaluation of construction works

Prepare and monitor progress claims, valuations and payment certificates

Monitor project costs and ensure expenditure is within the approved budget

Prepare, evaluate and manage variation orders and other contractual matters

Review quotations and negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers where required

Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers on commercial and contractual matters

Maintain proper documentation and records for project and contract administration

Monitor and coordinate QS matters for multiple projects simultaneously

Assist in cost control and provide commercial advice to project teams

Ensure QS and contractual matters are properly followed throughout the project
