Role Description The Business Intelligence Analyst is a full-time, on-site role based in Shah Alam. This role is responsible for gathering, cleaning, and analyzing data from multiple business systems to generate accurate reports and dashboards that support decision-making. The analyst will translate business requirements into BI solutions, monitor performance metrics, and identify trends and opportunities for operational improvement. Daily activities include collaborating with cross-functional teams, preparing regular and ad hoc analytics reports, documenting data definitions and processes, and ensuring data integrity and consistency. The role also involves recommending process enhancements, supporting system implementations or upgrades, and providing training and guidance to stakeholders on the use of BI tools and reports.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong data analysis and visualization skills, including experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik) and advanced Excel.
• Candidates should possess solid database and data management skills, including SQL querying, data modeling concepts, and familiarity with data warehousing or ETL processes.
• Candidates should possess business and analytical skills, such as translating business questions into data requirements, performing trend and variance analysis, and generating actionable insights.
• Candidates should possess technical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to troubleshoot data issues, optimize reports and dashboards, and document analytical methodologies.
• Candidates should possess communication and collaboration skills, including clear written and verbal communication, stakeholder management, and the ability to present complex findings in a simple, structured manner.
• Relevant qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field, along with experience in analytics or BI, preferably in healthcare, pharmaceutical, or a similar industry.
• Additional beneficial qualifications include familiarity with healthcare or pharmaceutical data, knowledge of KPI frameworks, experience with scripting or programming (e.g., Python, R), and an understanding of data governance and compliance standards.
