Job Overview

Do you enjoy filming, editing, social media, and coming up with your own content ideas—not simply executing instructions every day? YANGFAN GLOBAL is looking for a Part-Time Content Creator / Social Media Executive to join our team and create short-form videos and social media content related to health education. We are looking for someone who can independently manage the full content creation process, not just edit videos.

Key Responsibilities

1) Content Planning

* Proactively research and plan social media content based on the company’s health topics.

* Develop suitable content directions for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and XiaoHongShu.

* Create short-form video ideas based on current trends.

* Turn professional health knowledge into content that is simple and easy for the public to understand.

2) Script Writing

* Write scripts for short-form videos.

* Create engaging video hooks and openings.

* Present health knowledge in a simple and appealing way.

* Assist in creating calls-to-action and captions.

3) Video Shooting

* Assist with filming videos featuring doctors, dietitians, and team members.

* Independently handle basic mobile video filming.

* Understand basic composition, lighting, and audio.

* Arrange filming content according to scripts.

4) Video Editing

* Edit short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and XiaoHongShu.

* Add subtitles, text, images, and simple animations.

* Use tools such as CapCut, Canva, or Adobe Premiere Pro.

* Adapt video sizes and formats for different platforms.

) Social Media Management

Manage content publishing across:

Facebook | Instagram | TikTok | XiaoHongShu

This includes:

* Captions

* Hashtags

* Thumbnails / covers

* Posting schedules

* Content calendar management

6) Data & Performance Analysis

* Monitor video views, reach, engagement, and other performance metrics.

* Analyse which types of content perform well.

* Optimise future content based on performance data.

* Continuously test different hooks, topics, and video formats.

What We Are Looking For

* Interested in social media and content creation

* Able to shoot and edit short-form videos

* Proficient in CapCut / Canva

* Able to independently develop content ideas

* Basic scriptwriting skills

* Familiar with TikTok, Instagram Reels, and XiaoHongShu content trends

* Good aesthetic sense and creativity

* Able to work independently

* Proactive and does not require daily step-by-step instruction

* Interested in health, nutrition, and lifestyle-related content

* Strong Mandarin communication and writing skills

* English and Bahasa Malaysia proficiency are an added advantage

* Candidates with their own TikTok, Instagram, XiaoHongShu work samples, or portfolio are encouraged to include them in their application.
