About the Role

You will take complete charge of the outlet’s daily operations and financial performance, managing it like it is your own business.

Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Manage both the Front-of-House (service) and Back-of-House (kitchen) teams. You need to be a respected figure on the floor whom the staff will listen to and follow.
• Staff Training: Personally train your crew on proper restaurant mechanics. You must know how to set a table correctly, select the right plates, cutlery, and linens, and teach staff basic food and drink pairings.
• Sales & Costs: Monitor daily sales targets and encourage staff upselling. Keep an eye on inventory, reduce food waste, and manage the outlet's basic expenses.
• Floor Presence & Presentation: Maintain a neat, professional appearance at all times. Work actively on the floor during busy periods to oversee service and handle customer complaints directly.
• Independent Problem Solving: Manage the outlet independently. You are expected to spot operational issues and resolve them on your own without waiting for management's direction.

Requirements

• Experience: 3 to 5 years of solid experience in F&B or hospitality, with a proven track record in a supervisory or management role.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of restaurant service, table setups, and team management.
• Tech Skills: Comfortable using computers or phones for daily operational reporting (Excel, Google Sheets, or WhatsApp).
• Schedule: Ability to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays according to business needs.

Pay range and compensation package

• Base Salary: up to RM 6,000 per month (based on experience).
• Incentives: Performance bonuses based on achieving outlet sales and operational targets.
