Role Description The Production Engineering Intern will support the production team in day-to-day manufacturing activities for Tupel 3D’s implant scanners. This internship role is on-site and based in Selangor, Malaysia. Responsibilities include assisting in production planning, monitoring manufacturing processes, collecting and analyzing production data, and helping identify opportunities to improve efficiency and quality. The intern will collaborate with engineering and operations team members, prepare basic documentation, and contribute to problem-solving on the shop floor. This role offers hands-on exposure to production engineering in a medical device environment, under guidance from experienced professionals.

Qualifications

• Ability to apply Production Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering principles to support and improve production processes.
• Strong Analytical Skills to interpret production data, identify issues, and propose practical improvements.
• Basic knowledge of Production Planning to assist with scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow coordination.
• Effective Communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and documenting findings clearly.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma or degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or related field).
• Interest in medical devices or dental technology, with willingness to learn industry standards and best practices.
• Attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive approach to hands-on work in a production environment.
• Ability to work on-site in Selangor, Malaysia, and adhere to safety and quality procedures.
