Manpower is partnering with our client, Ichor Systems, to support Ichor Malaysia's expansion and ramp up. 

Ichor Systems designs, engineers, and manufactures the fluid delivery systems and precision components used in semiconductor and other advanced-technology equipment. Our products include gas and chemical delivery systems, precision-machined and welded components, brazing and surface treatment technologies, and other proprietary products, with a focus on the metal and plastic parts used in gas and chemical systems. More than 3,000 employees work across our sites in the U.S., Mexico, Malaysia, and Singapore. ************* This is a 12-hour day/night shift with flexibility to support overtime and weekend work when required.

Requirements

• Diploma or Certificate in machining, engineering or equivalent. 

• At least 7 years of machining experience in CNC mills, lathes, or multi-axis. 

• Strong CNC setup and operating skills. 

• Ability to read and understand technical drawing and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). 

• Proficient with precision measuring instruments. 

• Strong attention to detail and quality mindset. 

• Good communication and problem-solving skills. 

• Good hand–eye coordination and manual dexterity. 

• Experience in high-precision or high-mix/low-volume environment is preferred. 

• Demonstrated ability to guide and mentor junior machinists and fitters. 

• Experience with Haas, Fanuc, Heidenhain, DMG Mori or similar controls is preferred. 

• Able to commit to a 12-hour day/night shift, including weekends, and support overtime when required. 

• Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and multi-axis machines with minimal supervision according to Work Instructions and Tooling Lists.  

• Install, set up, and adjust tooling offsets, fixtures, work holding, and machine offsets. 

• Meet daily production targets while maintaining consistent part quality.  

• Load programs and safely prove out new FAI jobs.  

• Troubleshoot machining issues and work with supervisors, CAD/CAM programmers, and Quality Inspectors to resolve problems.  

• Read and interpret technical drawings and engineering documentation.  

• Inspect in-process and finished parts using micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and other precision measuring tools.  

• Provide technical guidance, coaching, and on-the-job training to junior CNC machinists and fitters.
