Senior Java DeveloperResponsibilities
- Assess requirements and handle end-to-end development: design, technical specifications, coding, SIT, UAT support, production release, and post-production support.
- Develop and maintain enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Java EE/J2EE.
- Develop REST APIs, web services, JSON integrations, and microservices.
- Work with Oracle/DB2, including PL/SQL and stored procedures.
- Troubleshoot applications on JBoss and Tomcat environments.
- Ensure development follows project standards, security requirements, and coding guidelines.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.
- Collaborate with users, vendors, and project teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent.
- 7+ years of relevant Java development experience.
- Strong Spring Boot (mandatory), Spring, Java EE/J2EE, JSP, and Servlets.
- Strong experience with Oracle 11g+/DB2 10+, PL/SQL, and stored procedures.
- Experience with RESTful API, Web Services, JSON, and Microservices.
- Hands-on experience with JBoss and Tomcat.
- Experience with Maven/Jenkins/Jira is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience mentoring or leading junior developers.
- Insurance industry experience is an advantage.
