Quality Operator Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Quality Operator to join our manufacturing team. You will be responsible for inspects finished goods and performing quality checks. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced production environment, possesses strong hand-eye coordination, and strictly follows all safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform quality inspections on products to ensure compliance with required standards and specifications.
- Monitor production processes and identify quality issues, defects, or deviations.
- Record inspection results accurately and maintain proper quality documentation.
- Report on all non-conforming products and quality issues to the Quality Assurance (QA) team.
- Ensure compliance with company quality procedures and customer requirements.
- Support corrective actions and continuous improvement activities.
- Collaborate closely with production teams to maintain and improve product quality.
Job Descriptions:
- Conduct incoming, in-process, and outgoing inspections according to defined quality requirements.
- Verify product quality based on drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.
- Perform measurements using basic and advanced measuring equipment (e.g., micrometer, vernier caliper, and related tools).
- Identify, document, and report defective or non-conforming products.
- Prepare and maintain inspection reports and quality records.
- Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Assist QA in investigating quality issues and support corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Support handling of customer complaints and internal quality issues when required.
- Maintain proper filing of quality documentation, reports, and inspection records.
- Ensure adherence to quality procedures, work instructions, and company standards.
- Comply with company safety, environmental, and operational policies.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 1–2 years of working experience in Quality Control or manufacturing environment is an advantage.
- Knowledge in using basic measuring equipment such as Micrometer, Vernier Caliper and other inspection tools.
- Basic understanding of quality control processes and inspection methods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects or non-conformance.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Able to work independently as well as work effectively in a team environment.
- Willing to work in a manufacturing environment and support production activities.
Preferred Skills:
- Ability to prepare inspection reports and maintain quality records.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and quality requirements is an added advantage.
