Data Privacy Operations Manager

We're is looking for a Data Privacy Operations Manager to run the day-to-day privacy programme and make responsible data handling second nature across the business.

You'll partner with IT, Legal and business teams, and you'll be the go-to person for privacy. This is a hands-on role with real visibility and influence.

What You'll Do

Own privacy enquiries and requests

• Manage and respond promptly to privacy enquiries, complaints and requests from individuals
• Be the trusted point of contact for data privacy matters across the organisation

Drive privacy assessments and third-party reviews

• Coordinate and run Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) for new and existing initiatives, products and services
• Conduct periodic PIA reviews to keep pace with regulatory requirements and internal standards
• Support third-party privacy assessments and respond to external privacy questionnaires

Lead incident and breach management

• Collect, review and escalate privacy incidents, working with the relevant teams on assessment
• Report significant breaches to the group privacy office and drive follow-up actions to closure

Stay ahead of regulation

• Monitor regulatory changes and identify compliance gaps
• Run scenario-based privacy risk assessments and maintain ongoing control reviews

Build a privacy-aware culture

• Develop and maintain privacy training materials for staff and agents
• Lead awareness campaigns and help roll out the privacy champion programme

Keep audits and reporting on track

• Coordinate privacy-related audits and ensure findings are resolved on time
• Prepare and present privacy metrics and reports to stakeholders

Advise and collaborate

• Work with internal teams to put practical privacy solutions in place, in line with the PDPA and group policies
• Guide the business on evolving regulations and best practices
  
  

What You Bring

• Strong working knowledge of data privacy laws and regulations, particularly the PDPA
• Experience in privacy operations, risk management or compliance
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the confidence to influence across levels
• The ability to juggle multiple privacy initiatives and drive compliance across business units
