Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Workday Techno-Functional Consultant to take end-to-end ownership of our global Workday Talent Optimization suite. In this hybrid role, you will bridge the gap between corporate HR strategy and system execution.

You will partner with HR leadership to define the product vision, build out the feature roadmap, and prioritize the system backlog. As the Techno-Functional Consultant, you will roll up your sleeves to handle hands-on system configuration, Business Process (BP) design, and end-to-end testing. The ideal candidate has deep domain expertise in Performance Management and Succession Planning, transforming complex talent strategies into seamless digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Roadmap & Vision: Define, manage, and execute the global product roadmap for the Workday Talent, Performance, and Succession modules.
• Stakeholder Alignment: Act as the primary liaison between corporate HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Executives, and the technical HRIS team.
• Backlog Management: Gather complex business requirements, translate them into clear user stories, and maintain/prioritize the product backlog for sprint cycles.
• Release Management: Evaluate, test, and adopt new features from Workday's semi-annual feature releases (R1/R2) to continuously maximize module ROI.
• Hands-on Configuration: design and configuration of Workday Performance Management (goal setting, review templates, continuous feedback, calibrations) and Succession Planning (talent pools, critical positions, readiness tracking).
• Business Process (BP) Design: Architect and optimize Workday Business Processes (BPs) and workflow security to ensure data integrity and confidentiality.
• Talent Analytics: Design advanced matrix grids, Talent Cards, custom reports, and executive dashboards to deliver predictive talent insights.
• Testing & Deployment: Lead end-to-end functional testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and post-production deployment for all talent-related system enhancements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Workday Suite Expertise: Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on configuration experience specifically within Workday Talent Optimization (Performance, Succession, Goal Management, and Career Planning).
• Advanced Analytics: Proven experience building Workday Advanced/Matrix reports, Custom Dashboards, and utilizing Calculated Fields.
• Security & Compliance: Strong understanding of Workday Functional Area Security and Domain Security Policies related to sensitive employee performance and succession data.
• Workday Skills Cloud: Exposure to or experience implementing Workday's Skills Cloud or competency frameworks is highly preferred.
