JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
-Perform quality checking on incoming materials, production processes and finished products.
-Inspect rice and other products according to the Company's quality standards and specifications.
-Conduct routine sampling and quality checks during production.
-Record inspection and testing results accurately and maintain proper QC records.
-Identify and report any quality issues or non-conformance to the superior.
-Monitor cleanliness, hygiene, sanitation and food safety practices in production and warehouse areas.
-Ensure finished products are properly packed, labelled and meet the required quality standards.
-Assist in handling customer complaints, product quality investigations and corrective actions.
-Prepare, maintain, update and control documentation related to ISO, HACCP, GMP, Food Safety and other Quality Management Systems.
-Ensure QC records, forms, checklists, procedures and supporting documents are properly maintained, filed and readily available for audit purposes.
-Assist in the preparation and coordination of internal and external audits, including ISO/HACCP certification and surveillance audits.
-Follow up on audit findings, non-conformities, corrective actions and related documentation.
-Liaise with Production, Warehouse and other departments on quality and food safety matters.
-Ensure compliance with Company quality procedures, food safety requirements and applicable regulatory requirements.
-Perform other QC and documentation-related duties assigned by the superior.
REQUIREMENTS:
-Minimum SPM / Certificate / Diploma or equivalent.
-Candidates with experience in Quality Control, food manufacturing or food processing will be an advantage.
-Experience or knowledge in ISO, HACCP, GMP and Food Safety documentation will be an added advantage.
-Basic computer knowledge, especially Microsoft Word and Excel.
-Able to maintain proper records, filing and documentation.
-Able to work in a factory/production environment.
-Responsible, disciplined and attentive to details.
-Able to communicate and work well with different departments.
-Able to work independently and as part of a team.
WORKING HOURS
Monday – Saturday: 7.30 AM – 4.00 PM
