About the job

This is a senior individual contributor position within the finance department, focused on full-set accounting responsibilities and assisting the Finance Manager in managing finance-related activities.

Job responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly flash statements, management accounts, and financial reports in accordance with Group requirements.
• Oversee monthly financial closing, including bank, vendor, intercompany, and AR/AP reconciliations.
• Manage accounts receivable, invoicing, collections, credit control, and overdue debt recovery.
• Oversee accounts payable, supplier payments, statutory payments, and vendor aging.
• Monitor cash flow, debtor and creditor aging, overhead costs, and petty cash.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, general ledger postings, and compliance with statutory audit and taxation requirements.
• Coordinate with internal departments, auditors, tax agents, and external stakeholders to ensure efficient financial operations and compliance with company KPIs.

What you’ll bring to this role:

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum of three years of relevant experience a full-set accounting role, preferably in a manufacturing or trading environment
• Familiarity with common accounting systems like Excel and PowerBI
• Ability to partner well with other departments and assist with cross-functional activities
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
