We are looking for a Geological Research Analyst to join our team, with a strong focus on technical research, analysis and report writing for submarine cable projects.

In this role, you will research and interpret geological, seabed, marine and environmental information, and translate your findings into clear, structured and technically sound reports. Your work will support the assessment of potential cable routes and help project teams make informed decisions on route feasibility, risks and constraints.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed research and analysis of geological, seabed, marine and environmental information for submarine cable projects.
• Prepare comprehensive Desktop Study (DTS) reports, technical assessments, route evaluations, risk assessments and supporting documentation.
• Analyse and interpret information from various technical and public sources to identify route constraints, risks and key findings.
• Research factors such as seabed conditions, existing infrastructure, fishing activities, shipping, anchoring, UXO, permitting and environmental considerations.
• Develop clear and well-structured technical narratives, ensuring complex information is presented in a concise and understandable manner.
• Translate research findings into practical conclusions and recommendations for project teams and clients.
• Work closely with stakeholders to gather information and ensure technical accuracy.
• Support the development of route options and assessments based on research findings and project requirements.
• Review and maintain technical information, references and supporting data used in project reports.
• Ensure all reports and deliverables meet project requirements, company standards and QHSSE expectations.

Key Requirements:

• Master’s students or Bachelor’s degree graduates in Geology, Earth Sciences, Geoscience, or related fields are welcome
• 3 - 5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong technical report writing and documentation skills are essential
• Good understanding or interest in geological and environmental interpretation
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
• Ability to synthesise complex technical data into clear written outputs
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Willingness to travel and participate in rotational assignments
• Interest in infrastructure, marine geology, or subsea projects is an advantage
