 REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of relevant HR experience, preferably with experience in a managerial or senior HR position.
  • Strong experience in Learning & Development, recruitment, employee engagement, and HR operations.
  • Hands-on experience in HRD Corp (HRDC) grant applications and training claims.
  • Experience in overseas payroll administration and working with international employees or service providers will be an advantage.
  • Knowledge of Malaysian employment practices, HR administration, and statutory requirements.
  • Experience in employee insurance and benefits administration is preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office or relevant HR systems.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Tanggungjawab

Key Responsibilities

1) Learning & Development

  • Develop and implement staff Learning & Development programmes aligned with the organisation’s business objectives and workforce requirements.
  • Conduct training needs analysis and identify appropriate internal and external training programmes.
  • Develop and maintain an annual training calendar and ensure training programmes are implemented effectively.
  • Coordinate with training providers, consultants, and relevant stakeholders to arrange training programmes.
  • Manage HRD Corp (HRDC) training grant applications for eligible training programmes.
  • Ensure HRDC applications are submitted accurately and within the required timelines.
  • Coordinate with training providers and HRDC on training applications, approvals, supporting documents, and related requirements.
  • Manage and monitor the organisation’s HRD Corp levy utilisation and available training allocation.
  • Prepare and submit HRD Corp training claims, including all required supporting documentation.
  • Follow up on pending or rejected HRDC applications and claims and resolve issues where necessary.
  • Maintain proper records of HRDC applications, approvals, claims, invoices, attendance records, training materials, and other supporting documents.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable HRDC requirements, guidelines, and procedures.
  • Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness and prepare reports on training participation, costs, outcomes, and HRDC utilisation.
  • Support employee career development, competency development, and succession planning initiatives.

2) Employee Compensation & Benefits

  • Develop and facilitate effective internal HR communication across the organisation.
  • Communicate HR policies, procedures, company announcements, benefits, training programmes, and employee initiatives.
  • Coordinate employee engagement activities, staff events, and other HR initiatives.
  • Manage insurance policy renewals and ensure adequate employee coverage.
  • Assist employees with insurance enquiries, claims, and related matters.
  • Oversee and coordinate payroll processing for overseas employees.
  • Maintain and regularly update the organisation chart to reflect current organisational structure, departments, positions, reporting lines, and employees.
  • Monitor completion of performance appraisals and follow up with departments where necessary.
