We Are Hiring | Security Manager (Construction)

Location: Sungai Buloh

We are looking for an experienced Security Manager to join our team.

The Security Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing security operations across construction project sites, ensuring effective security management, compliance with company policies, protection of assets, and a safe and secure working environment.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead and manage security operations across construction project sites.
• Develop, implement and monitor security policies, SOPs and security improvement initiatives.
• Manage outsourced security service providers, including manpower deployment, performance and compliance.
• Conduct regular security inspections, audits, risk assessments and incident investigations.
• Oversee access control, visitor management, vehicle movement and protection of company assets.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, police and relevant authorities on security-related matters.
• Prepare security reports, monitor KPIs and recommend preventive and corrective actions.
• Support emergency response planning and promote security awareness across project sites.

Skills & Requirements

• Education: Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Security Management, Business Administration, Law Enforcement, Risk Management or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in security management, preferably in construction, infrastructure, manufacturing or industrial sectors.
• Proven experience in managing outsourced security providers and multi-site security operations.
• Strong knowledge of security operations, risk assessment, access control, incident investigation and security audits.
• Good leadership, coordination and communication skills with security personnel, contractors, clients and relevant authorities.
• Able to manage security incidents, implement corrective actions and ensure compliance with company security requirements.
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced construction environment and willing to travel to project sites when required.
