Key Responsibilities

1. Store Operations

• Coordinate and support daily store operations to ensure smooth and efficient outlet management.
• Assist with store opening and closing procedures.
• Ensure daily operational tasks are completed according to company standards and SOPs.
• Support general store administration and operational activities.

2. Sales & Customer Service

• Deliver excellent customer service and actively support sales activities.
• Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products.
• Assist customers with enquiries about bakery ingredients, packaging, baking tools, and kitchen essentials.
• Handle customer feedback and complaints professionally.
• Build strong customer relationships and encourage repeat purchases.

3. Cashier & Sales Administration

• Operate POS systems and handle cash and cashless transactions accurately.
• Perform daily cash counting and reconciliation.
• Assist with sales reporting and maintain accurate operational records.

4. Merchandising & Store Presentation

• Ensure products are properly arranged, priced, labelled, and displayed.
• Maintain attractive, neat, and well-organised product displays.
• Support promotional, festive, and new product merchandising activities.
• Ensure the outlet maintains a clean and professional appearance.

5. Inventory & Stock Control

• Assist with stock ordering, receiving, checking, and replenishment.
• Monitor stock availability, fast-moving and slow-moving products, and expiry dates.
• Conduct regular stock counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Ensure proper FIFO (First In, First Out) stock rotation.
• Identify and report stock discrepancies, damaged goods, and inventory issues to Management.

6. Team Support & Coordination

• Guide and support Retail Assistants in their daily responsibilities.
• Assist with staff scheduling and manpower planning.
• Ensure team members follow company procedures and SOPs.
• Support staff training and provide guidance when required.
• Lead by example and promote a positive, productive team environment.

7. Online Orders & Fulfilment

• Process online, phone, and social media orders accurately and promptly.
• Coordinate order picking, packing, delivery arrangements, and self-collection.
• Ensure product information, pricing, and stock availability are updated accurately.
• Assist in resolving order-related issues and customer enquiries.

8. Marketing & Customer Engagement

• Support promotional campaigns, festive activities, product launches, demonstrations, workshops, and sampling activities.
• Assist with in-store marketing and customer engagement initiatives.
• Stay updated on new products, bakery ingredients, packaging, and industry trends.

9. Store Maintenance & Compliance

• Maintain a clean, organised, safe, and welcoming store environment.
• Ensure products and equipment are handled and stored properly.
• Follow company policies, SOPs, food handling requirements, and workplace safety procedures.
• Report maintenance, safety, and operational issues to Management.

Job Requirements

• Passionate about retail, sales, and customer service.
• Friendly, confident, proactive, and customer-oriented.
• Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Responsible, dependable, hands-on, and willing to take initiative.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.
• Experience in retail, supermarket, FMCG, bakery supply, food service, or related industries is an advantage.
• Candidates with supervisory or team-leading experience are encouraged to apply.
• Fresh graduates with strong interpersonal, leadership, and customer service skills may also be considered.
• Must be able to commute reliably to Cyberjaya, Selangor.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: RM8.00 - RM9.00 per hour
