  • Prepare rolling cash flow forecasts and provide timely visibility of funding needs, cash surpluses, and liquidity risks.
  • Administer banking facilities, authorised signatories, bank mandates, interbank transfers, and online banking access in accordance with approved controls.
  • Coordinate with banks and internal stakeholders on operational treasury matters, foreign currency requirements, deposits, and financing arrangements.
  • Monitor compliance with treasury policies, facility terms, loan covenants, and banking documentation requirements.

2. Statutory Audit, Controls & Governance

  • Coordinate audit schedules, supporting documents, confirmations, and responses for external, internal, statutory, and regulatory audits relating to treasury, tax, and compliance matters.
  • Act as the day-to-day contact for auditors within the role’s scope and track queries, findings, and agreed actions to timely closure.
  • Perform and document key treasury and compliance controls, identify control gaps, and recommend practical process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with delegated authority limits, segregation-of-duties requirements, treasury and finance policies, and record-retention standards.

3. Tax & Regulatory Compliance

  • Prepare or coordinate corporate income tax, sales and service tax, withholding tax, and other applicable tax computations, returns, payments, and reconciliations.
  • Maintain complete supporting records and monitor filing and payment deadlines to ensure timely compliance.
  • Liaise with tax advisors and relevant authorities on tax queries, audits, assessments, and information requests.
  • Coordinate statutory and regulatory submissions, including submissions to Bank Negara Malaysia where applicable.
  • Monitor changes in tax, treasury, company, and other relevant regulatory requirements and assess their operational impact.

4. Corporate Secretarial Matters

  • Coordinate corporate secretarial matters with the appointed company secretary, including the preparation and timely circulation of board and shareholder resolutions, statutory forms, and supporting documents.
  • Work closely with the company secretary to support board and committee administration, corporate governance documentation, changes in directors or shareholders, and other company secretarial actions as required.

About You

  • Strong analytical, organisational, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently, manage confidential information, and meet statutory deadlines.
