About the role
MIT Academy is actively seeking a highly qualified and certified Grid-Connected Photovoltaic (GCPV) Systems Design Trainer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting professional training programs and preparing engineers and technical professionals for accreditation in Malaysia's growing solar PV sector.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver SEDA-accredited GCPV Systems Design training programs in accordance with national curriculum standards.
- Instruct participants on solar PV design principles, engineering calculations, grid connectivity, and regulatory compliance.
- Maintain active continuous professional development (CPD) through required SEDA refresher courses and industry seminars.
- Assess and evaluate candidate progress, ensuring high training standards and certification pass rates.
About you
- Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, or Energy Engineering, or Applied Physics.
- Registered Graduate Engineer or Professional Engineer (PEng) with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) is highly preferred.
- Valid SEDA GCPV Systems Designer Certificate (8-day program).
- Valid SEDA GCPV Train-the-Trainer (TOT) for Design certification.
Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM5,300.00 per month
