• Experience in Malaysian kopitiam or similar F&B environment preferred.

• Able to lead, train and motivate a kitchen team.

• Hands-on, responsible and disciplined.

• Willing to work according to the designated operating hours.

• Valid Typhoid vaccination & Food Handling Certificate is better.

Job Description

We are looking for a hands-on Senior Chef / Chefto lead our kitchen team in a Muslim Friendly Malaysian kopitiam. The candidate must be experienced inwok-fried cooking, kitchen operations and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily kitchen operations.

• Prepare and cook wok-fried and kopitiam-style dishes.

• Ensure food quality, taste, portion and presentation are consistent.

• Train and guide kitchen staff.

• Manage kitchen cleanliness, hygiene and Halal food handling.

• Monitor stock, food usage and minimise wastage.

• Ensure kitchen SOPs and safety standards are followed.

• Work hands-on during busy and peak hours.
