Job Purpose

Drive the availability, accuracy, and completeness of plant drawings by maintaining proper control, updates, and documentation, while managing the plant and machinery identification system.

Responsibilities

1. Drawing Production - Produce detailed engineering drawings - general arrangements, assembly drawings, piping isometrics, and P and ID markupsas directed.

2. 3D Modelling Support - Assist Senior Engineers and Engineers in building and updating 3D models and assemblies using SolidWorks or AutoCAD Plant 3D.

3. Drawing Register Maintenance - Maintain accurate drawing registers, revision histories, and document filing systems to team documentation standards.

4. As-Built Updates - Update engineering drawings to as-built status following field verification and approved modifications.

5. Redline Markup Incorporation - Incorporate engineer-marked redline changes into master drawings accurately and promptly.

6. Standards Compliance - Ensure all drawings comply with applicable engineering drawing standards, title block requirements, and revision control procedures.

7. BOM and Parts List Preparation - Prepare Bills of Materials and parts lists from 2D/ 3D models or design information as directed by engineers.

8. Printing and Document Issuance - Manage drawing print, issue, and transmittal processes for internal review and external submission.

9. Team Support - Provide general drawing and documentation support to the mechanical/process design team as required.

Qualification and Experience

1. Minimum Certificate, Diploma, or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Civil) or industrial graphics drawing.

2. Minimum 1 year working experience with AutoCAD and basic exposure to SolidWorks. Fresh graduates welcome to apply.

3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

4. Ability to use precision measuring tools and perform on-site measurements.

5. Capability to plan, organise, and execute drafting-related tasks and site work.

6. CAD certification (SolidWorks CSWA or AutoCAD certification) is advantageous

7. Experience in a process plant, manufacturing, or engineering consultancy environment preferred
