Applicants should possess:

• Diploma in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Building Services), Engineering Drafting, CAD Technology, Technical Drawing or equivalent; or

• equivalent technical qualification in Drafting/CAD; or

• Relevant practical experience in M&E drafting with a strong portfolio.

In addition, candidates should have:

• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in an engineering consultancy, M&E contractor or related industry (fresh graduates with strong CAD skills are encouraged to apply).

• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD or ZWCAD (mandatory).

• Experience in M&E consultancy drawings will be an added advantage.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.

• Good understanding of engineering drawings, technical detailing and drafting standards.

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and work within deadlines.

• Positive attitude, strong teamwork and willingness to learn.

• Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Added Advantages

• Experience with BIM software (Autodesk Revit, Navisworks or equivalent).

• Experience in HV/MV/LV electrical infrastructure, renewable energy, substations, data centres or industrial projects.

• Knowledge of Malaysian authority submission requirements.

• Prepare accurate Electrical and/or Mechanical engineering drawings using AutoCAD or ZWCAD.

• Produce layout drawings, Electrical schematic diagrams, schematics, detailed engineering drawings, sections and construction details.

• Assist Engineers in preparing designs and tender documentation.

• Revise drawings based on engineering comments and client requirements.

• Coordinate drawings with architects, structural engineers and other engineering disciplines.

• Maintain proper drawing standards, document control and revision history.

• Ensure drawings comply with relevant Malaysian standards, local authority requirements and project specifications.

• Assist in preparing drawings for authority submissions, tender and construction purposes.

• Perform site visits and measurement verification when required.
