About the role

As an Air Freight Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and driving the company’s air freight business, including both operational and commercial aspects. This role plays a key part in optimizing air freight processes, ensuring regulatory compliance, and expanding the company’s market presence through strategic sales initiatives and strong industry partnerships.

What You'll Be Doing

• Sales Strategy Development:
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth within the air freight segment.
• Business Development:

Identify new business opportunities, generate leads, and expand the company’s air freight customer base across various industries.

• Client Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer demands to identify growth opportunities and refine strategies.Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, ensuring strong conversion rates and consistent revenue generation.

• Market Analysis:
• Sales Pipeline Management:
• Reporting & Forecasting:
• Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management.
• Operational Coordination:

Collaborate closely with the air freight operations team to ensure service capabilities align with client expectations and resolve operational challenges.

• Internal Collaboration:

Work with internal departments such as operations and marketing to ensure seamless service delivery and customer experience.Partner with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns for air freight services.Track sales performance and continuously improve strategies to achieve business targets.Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Experience:

Proven experience in air freight sales or a similar role within the logistics or freight forwarding industry.

• Strong understanding of air freight operations, pricing structures, regulations, and market dynamics

Skills:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English
• Strong leadership and team coordination abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
