Role Description The Mechanical Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Shah Alam. This role involves designing, reviewing, and optimizing mechanical systems and equipment, including rotating machinery and static components, to meet project and safety requirements. Daily tasks include preparing and updating CAD drawings, performing mechanical calculations, conducting inspections, and supporting installation, testing, and commissioning activities. The role also includes collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams, coordinating with suppliers and contractors, and providing technical input for project proposals and documentation. The engineer will contribute to troubleshooting mechanical issues, improving system reliability, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and client specifications.
Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering with experience in rotating and static equipment design and analysis.
• Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools and ability to produce accurate mechanical drawings and documentation.
• Well-developed Analytical Skills for problem-solving, performance evaluation, and root-cause analysis of mechanical issues.
• Effective Communication skills for collaborating with internal teams, suppliers, and clients, and for preparing clear technical reports.
• Project Management capabilities to plan tasks, track progress, manage timelines, and coordinate engineering activities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
• Familiarity with industry standards and codes relevant to mechanical systems in industrial and energy sectors.
• Ability to work safely on-site, follow HSE procedures, and participate in site inspections and field work as needed.
• Experience with instrumentation, flow measurement, and control systems is an advantage.
• Prior exposure to energy-efficient solutions or explosion-proof equipment is beneficial.
