The Assistant Duty Manager supports the daily operations of the Front Office Department to ensure smooth hotel operations and excellent guest experiences. This role assists in supervising the front office team, handling guest requests and concerns, coordinating with other departments, and maintaining high service standards. The Assistant Duty Manager will assist the Duty Manager in overseeing operational activities during assigned shifts.
- Assist in overseeing daily front office operations including check-in, check-out, reservations, and guest services.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints professionally to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Support and supervise front office associates to maintain service quality and operational standards.
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure smooth hotel operations.
- Assist in preparing daily reports, cash handling, and ensuring compliance with hotel policies and SOPs.
- Monitor staff attendance, grooming, and overall performance during shifts.
- Respond promptly to operational issues and assist during emergencies when required.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Hospitality, Tourism, Hotel Management, or related field.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in Front Office or hotel operations.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Able to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with hotel management systems will be an advantage.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality & integrity and able to work under pressure / work in quick pace.
- Working hours 6 days in a week on rotational shift.

Pay: RM1,900.00 - RM2,100.00 per month
