Job Description

1. Financial Reporting:
- Prepare and present accurate financial reports on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure that financial reports are incompliance with accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS) and company policies.
- Consolidate financial data from different departments and business units for reporting purposes.
- Provide detailed variance analysis of actual versus budgeted financial performance.
2. Financial Analysis:
- Conduct detailed financial analysis to provide insight into business performance and identify trends, risks and opportunities.
- Review financial performance and key matrics, making recommendations for improvement or corrective actions.
- Prepare adhoc reports and analyses for management as requested.
3. Budgeting & Forecasting Support:
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts by gathering and analyzing financial data from different departments.
- Ensure that actual performance is aligned with the budget and assist in investigating any deviations.
- Provide ongoing support for periodic financial forecasting activities.
4. Month-End & Year-End Close:
- Coordinate and manage the month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure that reports are accurate and completed within set timelines.
- Ensure that all journal entries, accruals and adjustments are recorded accurately for timely reporting.
- Perform reconciliations of general ledger accounts, ensuring they are accurate and complete.
5. Compliance & Internal Controls:
- Ensure that financial reporting processes comply with internal controls, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Support internal & external audits by providing necessary financial reports and documentation.
- Identify and address any potential issues related to financial reporting or accounting practices.
- Ensuring reporting functions area automated and efficient.
6. Documentation and Reporting Tools:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for reporting processes and systems.
- Develop and maintain reporting templates and dashboards to ensure consistent and efficient reporting practices.
