Job Summary
The Import Logistics Executive is responsible for coordinating and monitoring all import shipment activities to ensure timely delivery, compliance with customs regulations, and smooth communication between suppliers, freight forwarders, shipping agents, and internal departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor daily import shipment activities.
- Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs agents regarding shipment schedules and documentation.
- Prepare and verify import documents such as Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, Permit, and Customs Forms.
- Ensure all import processes comply with local customs regulations and company policies.
- Track shipment status and update internal stakeholders on delivery timelines.
- Coordinate with warehouse and transport teams for cargo receiving and delivery arrangements.
- Handle customs clearance and resolve any shipment or documentation issues.
- Maintain accurate records of import transactions and shipping documents.
- Monitor logistics costs and assist in cost control initiatives.
- Support inventory planning and ensure timely stock replenishment.
- Prepare monthly logistics and import reports when required.
- Perform any other duties assigned by management.
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM6,500.00 per month
