Roles & Responsibilities
A. Creative Leadership & Art Direction
- Execute strong visual ideas across campaigns and content, ensuring work is on brief, on brand and visually engaging.
- Translate concepts into clear layouts, key visuals and executions across film, digital, social, print and OOH.
- Demonstrate good aesthetic judgement in composition, typography, colour and imagery.
- Support idea development during brainstorms by contributing visual references, layout ideas and executions.
- Ensure all artwork aligns with brand guidelines, campaign objectives and creative direction set by head of art.
B. Team Collaboration & Learning
- Work closely with copywriters, designers and other creatives to bring ideas to life collaboratively.
- Take direction positively and apply feedback effectively to improve work quality.
- Support designers when needed, sharing basic guidance and best practices.
- Maintain a positive, respectful attitude and contribute to a healthy creative working culture.
C. Campaign Ownership & Creative Delivery
- Execute assigned deliverables from layout to final artwork with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ensure files are prepared correctly for different platforms and production requirements.
- Respond promptly to feedback from seniors and clients, making revisions efficiently while maintaining quality.
- Manage own tasks and timelines responsibly to meet deadlines.
D. Cross-Department Collaboration & Professional Conduct
- Collaborate with Account Management, Strategy, Production and Social teams to ensure smooth execution.
- Communicate clearly during WIPs, internal reviews and production discussions.
- Be responsible and solution-oriented when addressing execution challenges.
- Ensure presentation decks are neat, visually clear and easy to understand.
E. Client Partnership & Consultancy
- Attend client meetings or presentations when required, primarily in a support role.
- Learn to articulate basic visual rationale behind design choices when asked.
- Develop understanding of client brands, business objectives and audience needs.
- Build confidence in professional communication and presentation skills.
F. Agency Contribution & Continuous Improvement
- Stay curious about design trends, visual culture, advertising work and new tools.
- Continuously improve craft skills through practice, feedback and self-learning.
- Contribute ideas, references and inspiration during team sharing or brainstorm sessions.
- Uphold agency standards in work quality, discipline and professional behaviour.
This role is open to Residents of Malaysia and individuals with valid Resident status in Malaysia.
