Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Technical Field Analyst role based in Johor Baharu.

FIELD OPERATIONS

·      Assist in planning and executing fumigation activities for commodities such as grains, produce, and

packaged goods.

·      Conduct on-site monitoring of fumigation processes, including gas concentration checks, sealing

integrity, and safety compliance.

·      Collect samples and perform field biology tests to assess pest presence, resistance, and treatment

effectiveness.

·      Support post-treatment inspections and commodity quality assessments.

TECHNICAL ANALYSIS & REPORTING

·      Prepare detailed fumigation reports, including treatment parameters, biological test results, and

compliance documentation.

·      Analyze field data to evaluate fumigation effectiveness and recommend improvements.

·      Maintain accurate records of fumigation activities, chemical usage, and safety measures.

RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT (R&D)

·     Participate in R&D projects focused on new fumigation techniques, pest control strategies, and

commodity protection.

·     Conduct field biology experiments to study pest behavior, resistance patterns, and treatment

outcomes.

·     Collaborate with research teams to test and validate new fumigation technologies, formulations, or

application methods.

·     Provide technical input for innovation projects and contribute to scientific publications or internal

reports.

COMPLIANCE & SAFETY

·      Ensure adherence to local regulations, safety protocols, and environmental standards.

·      Support audits and inspections by providing technical documentation and field evidence.

·      Promote best practices in fumigation safety and environmental stewardship.

·      Develop training materials, manuals, and guidelines to standardize fumigation practices.

QUALIFICATIONS

·      Diploma or bachelor’s degree in agriculture, Biology, Environmental Science, Pest Management, or

related field.

·      Experience in fumigation, pest control, or commodity handling is an advantage.

·      Knowledge of field biology testing methods and pest identification.

·      Strong technical writing and reporting skills.

·      Ability to work in field environments (warehouses, silos, storage facilities).

·      Familiarity with fumigation chemicals, monitoring equipment, and safety procedures.
