Job Summary
The Assistant Sales Manager supports the Sales Manager in driving sales growth, maintaining customer relationships, and achieving company revenue targets. The role involves supervising sales activities, identifying new business opportunities, managing key accounts, preparing sales reports, and ensuring excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Assist in planning and implementing sales strategies to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Conduct sales presentations, product demonstrations, and negotiations with customers.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
Customer Relationship Management
- Respond to customer inquiries and provide suitable solutions.
- Handle customer complaints and coordinate with relevant departments for resolution.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
Team Support & Leadership
- Assist in supervising and guiding the sales team.
- Provide coaching and support to sales executives and sales representatives.
- Monitor individual and team performance against sales targets.
- Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and training of new sales staff.
Reporting & Administration
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, quotations, and sales activities.
- Analyze sales data and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements
Education
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum 3–5 years of sales experience.
- At least 1–2 years of supervisory or leadership experience is preferred.
- Experience in B2B sales, FMCG, retail, food service, or related industries is an advantage.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Working Conditions
- Full-time position.
- May require travel to customer sites, meetings, exhibitions, and industry events.

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
