Job Overview:
We are looking for a friendly, motivated, and sales-driven individual to join our team as a Receptionist. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for guests while also supporting sales activities to help grow occupancy and revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
Front Desk Duties:
- Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival
- Handle check-ins, check-outs, reservations, and inquiries
- Manage phone calls, emails, and booking platforms
- Provide information about hotel services and local attractions
- Ensure smooth daily operations and excellent guest experience
Sales Duties:
- Promote room sales and ballroom packages to walk-in and call-in customers
- Assist in developing and executing local marketing and corporate sales strategies
- Follow up on inquiries, and close bookings
- Maintain customer database and track leads/follow-ups
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in hospitality/sales is an advantage/other diploma welcome too
- Experience in hotel front office or sales roles preferred (Training provided if needed)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Confident, well-groomed, and customer-oriented
- Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English (additional languages an advantage)
- Familiar with E-Soft Hotel Management System and online booking platforms (training provided if needed)
- Willing to work on shifts, weekends, and public holidays
