Possess a Certificate of Competency (COC) of at least Master of 3000 GT or more Unlimited Trade Voyages, or Chief Engineer of 3000 kW or more Unlimited Trade Voyages, in compliance with the International Convention on Standards, Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers (STCW) 1995, post Manila Amendment 2010.
Experience in ship management and extensive knowledge in the implementation of the International Management Code for the Safe Operation of Ships and for Pollution Prevention (ISM Code).
Basic knowledge in Bridge Resource Management, Engine Resource Management, and Global Maritime Distress and Safety System (GMDSS).
