Main duties and responsibilities • Inspecting, analysing, and troubleshooting systems and equipment. • Hands-on Installation of electrical onsite within the given time. • Reading repair manuals and liaising with other professionals. • Running tests and interpreting results to make effective recommendations. • Writing up reports, safety regulations, and preventative maintenance plans. • Communicating with Person in Charge at the job site and Contractors in regards to technical functions. • Repairing or replacing faulty equipment on site. • Fabricating any parts required on ad-hock basis. • Providing time and material cost estimates before starting a job. • Keeping abreast of advancements in your field and attending workshops as required. • Performing maintenance on equipment and machinery to support production and achieve desired results. • Assisting technical team in evaluating products, equipment, and systems. • Providing technical support whenever necessary, such as doing calibrations for wire placement and electrical components. • Reading repair manuals to ensure that every action taken is accurate. • Modifying older electrical systems for cost reductions, fabrication, improvement, and safety control. Qualifications and Experience: • Knowledge in Phase 1 & Phase 3 Electrical. • Having GDL is an advantage. • Able to work in a team environment. • Able to work on-site heights and willing to withstand the weather conditions. • Able to cope with a given timeline and able to accept pressure at work. • A knack for problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:- • Handle the shift/trouble shooting electrical section of the entire plant. • Handle all the modification, wiring jobs, replacement of electrical equipment etc. • Maintain the field drawings, housekeeping and test requirement • Must have basic electrical and instrumentation skills to work (and troubleshoot) motors, coils and relays. • Operates switchgear of 33KV and 6.6KV voltage level. • Carries out planned or predictive maintenance as per WO issued job cards and reports back on the status. • Handles all the modifications, wiring jobs, replacement of motors / coil etc. • Works in the workshop as required and participates in the repair jobs of equipment. • Follow all safety procedures and raises the work permits as necessary. • Follow the lock-out and tag-out procedures and facilities other departments to carry-out maintenance jobs. • Participate in various safety drills that are conducted time to time; Electrical and Instrumentation • To comply with the company Safety Policy and Procedures; and • To undertake any other job assigned by immediate superior or Management from time to time.
