- Executing plans of electrical wiring for well functioning lighting, intercom and other electrical systems
- Installing electrical apparatus, fixtures and equipment for alarm and other systems
- Installing safety and distribution components
- setup and maintenance of electrical infrastructure.
- Connect wiring in electrical circuits and networks ensuring compatibility of components
- Prepare and assemble conduits and connect wiring through them
- Prevent breakdown of systems by routinely inspecting and replacing old wiring and insulated cables, cleaning circuits etc.
- Perform effective troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions and repair or substitute damaged units
To assist the project manager to plan, monitor and control daily activities at project sites
- Supervision and arrangement of site works and other activities that are carried out at the site.
- Provide support, guidance to team member.
- To design and plan for cable route
- Ensure cable and equipment installation at site up to standard and specification.
- Able to do installation, support and troubleshoot of ELV system and project management will be added advantage.
- This job will be with our sister company based in BRUNEI.
- Job will not be in Sarawak.

Diagnose electrical problems using diagrams or blueprints.
Install and repair electrical systems.
Inspect, troubleshoot, and conduct tests.
Pinpoint problems using a range of testing devices.
Safely use various hand and power tools.
Electro Technical Officer - ETO = with COC of ETO or ETO Rating
• Open to MALAYSIAN Seafarer (Electrician/ETO) only;
• Certificate from INSTEP or Polytechnic or local recognized body certification equivalent in Electrical Engineering;
• Must have a valid certificate of competency for Electrical Chargeman AO.
• Must have ETR COC from Mardept (JLM);
• Valid BOSIET and Petronas Offshore Medical to comply with Offshore Working Requirement.
• Those with DP Maintenance Certificate will be at an added advantage;
• Those without DP Maintenance Certificate, but if you meet the above requirement, can apply for ETO Scholarship Sponsorship with Company Bond Agreement. Package included onboard training with Salary at our long term charter DP vessel to gain experience with exiting team member onboard.
• Minimum 1-year experience as an Electrical technician onboard similar or any marine / offshore type of vessel.
