Job Highlights Career advancement Medical and Insurance coverage working 5 days a week Job Description Processing prescriptions and dispensing medication. Verified prescription details with the healthcare specialists who prescribed them when required. Reviewing and interpreting physician orders and detecting therapeutic incompatibilities. Completes pharmacy operations requirements by organizing and directing technicians’ workflow, verifying their preparation and labeling of pharmaceuticals, and verifying order entries, charges, and inspections. Ensure all prescription drugs plus controlled substances are secure and safe in the dispensary. Prepare an approved drug list for entire unit dose inventories. Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Complies with Pharmacy Legislation as regulated by the board of pharmacy Malaysia and the Ministry of Health (MOH). Maintains current registration, studies existing and new legislation anticipates legislation and advises management on needed actions. Coordinate with the Head Office to structure and construct standard operation procedures (SOP) for daily pharmacy and dispensary operations and best practice protocols when storing prescription drugs and controlled substances. Maintains records for controlled substances and removes outdated and damaged drugs from the pharmacy inventory. Qualification: Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, or Master’s Degree in Pharmacy recognized by the Malaysian Pharmacy Board Valid state licensure and certifications – full FRP registration, full registration with Pharmacy Board Malaysia. At least 2 years or above experience as a pharmacist or related experience and training. An equivalent combination of education and experience that provides proficiency in the areas of responsibility listed above may be substituted for the above education and experience requirements Able to apply for License A immediately
