Overview

As a UI/UX designer, you are responsible for designing and improving the user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) of digital products, such as websites, mobile apps, and software applications. Your goal is to create interfaces that are compelling, intuitive, efficient, and aesthetically pleasing, while also meeting the needs of the end users.

Key Responsibilities: Understand customer needs through research, user interviews, and usability testing to inform design decisions and prioritize initiatives. Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineering Managers to define product requirements and translate them into intuitive and engaging user experiences. Create user experience design concepts, wireframes, and prototypes for web and mobile applications, ensuring alignment with business objectives and user needs. Utilize expertise in modern UX technologies and proficiency in various UX tools to deliver high-quality design solutions. Ensure consistency with brand guidelines and maintain visual and interaction design standards across all products and features. Lead the execution of concept work for new products and features, from initial ideation to final delivery. Define UI/UX standards and best practices, including design patterns, guidelines, and user journeys, to ensure a cohesive and seamless user experience. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and marketers, to iterate on designs and incorporate feedback throughout the design process. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in UI/UX design, and share insights and best practices with the team. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Human-Computer Interaction, Design, or related field. Minimum of 5 years' experience in UI/UX Designing, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in user-centered design principles and methodologies. Proficiency in UX design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or InVision, as well as prototyping tools like Axure or Proto.io. Strong understanding of modern UX technologies, including responsive design, mobile-first design, and accessibility standards. Excellent visual design skills with a keen eye for typography, layout, and color theory. Ability to communicate design concepts and rationale effectively, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. Experience defining UI/UX standards and best practices, and leading design initiatives from concept to implementation. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and working in cross-functional teams.
