Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Minimum three (3) years of working experience in a related field.

Good organisational and communication skills, with computer literacy.

Strong analytical and leadership skills, with sound knowledge of project management and project costing.

To manage and maintain all mechanical building services systems, including HVAC, air-conditioning, ventilation, pumps, plumbing-related mechanical systems, and associated equipment.

To oversee the operation of mechanical plants and installations to ensure uninterrupted, safe, and efficient building operations.

To coordinate mechanical maintenance activities with electrical, civil, and other engineering disciplines within the Facilities Maintenance Services.

To manage and monitor mechanical repair works to ensure compliance with approved specifications, timelines, and service quality standards.

To manage, supervise, and assess the performance of mechanical maintenance contractors and service providers.

To plan, schedule, and manage Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) activities in accordance with contract requirements and maintenance schedules.

To engage, evaluate, and manage mechanical service contractors for routine maintenance, corrective works, and improvement projects.

To provide technical input and budgetary planning support for mechanical maintenance, replacement, and improvement works.

To identify, analyse, and resolve mechanical system faults and performance issues, proposing corrective and preventive measures.

To manage mechanical maintenance contracts, including scope control, contractor performance, and service delivery standards.

To plan and manage the replacement, upgrading, and refurbishment of mechanical systems to support asset lifecycle management.

To maintain and update the asset register for all mechanical systems and equipment under maintenance.

To maintain and update mechanical drawings, schematics, manuals, and related technical documentation where necessary.
