• Diploma / Degree in Quantity Surveying or Mechanical Engineering

• At least 2-3 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry

• Experience in plumbing field is an added advantage

• Thorough understanding of construction contracts, cost management, and project planning

• Proficient in the use of quantity surveying software and Microsoft Office applications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively

Pre-Contract (Tender Stage)

• Prepare and compile tender documents for tender submission.

• To analyse tender requirement and compliance with tender specifications.

• Source pricing and quotation from subcontractor and supplier.

• Quantity taking off for tender.

• Cost estimation for tender submission.

• To fill in tender documents for submission.

Post-Contract

• Preparing detailed cost estimates and bills of quantities for construction projects

• Prepare and monitor project costing and identify potential savings.

• Review and manage contract document and highlight potential risk and discrepancies.

• Preparation of sub contract documents for subcontractor.

• Keep track progress claims and certified payments.

• Evaluate subcontractor claims and prepare payment certificate.

• Prepare VO submission including VO documents and negotiation.

• Handle final account.
