At least a Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Education/ Teaching/ Training. Linguistics/ Languages or equivalent.

At least 3-4 years teaching experience & a proven track record of outstanding practice.

Able to speak fluent English and Mandarin.

Be self-motivated, responsible & innovative

Caring & supportive approach to children and parents.

Able to engage, motivate K-Grade 5 students who are native speakers with enthusiastic, interactive presentation.

Have the interpersonal skills needed to work successfully with teams.

Have a strong learning-focused philosophy.

Have a growth-mindset looking to continually improve.

Excellent tech skills in engaging students via online teaching eg zoom, google meets.

To prepare and deliver the Mandarin Language classes according to the school’s syllabus plan with enthusiasm.

Participate in the development, execution, and evaluation of the curriculum materials based on the objectives of the school.

Document and monitor students’ performance tracking the growth and progress such as attendance, assessment and reports to Elementary Principal.

Monitor students’ well-being and motivating them to achieve their learning goals.

Maintain Mandarin language teaching of the highest quality.

Maintain a high standard of student engagement, progress and behavior during the lessons to facilitate effective learning.

Participate in the parent information sessions, parent/ teacher meetings and staff meetings.
